Lovely reception staff, really friendly at check-in - makes such a difference! Rooms are basic (as expected for a budget) but well maintained (better than Leeds), ideal if you just need somewhere to rest your head with your dog! Shower pressure is 10/10, room was clean and comfortable. Window that opens. Aircon (although difficult to understand how this works), TV and good pillows for the price. Located a short distance from fuel/pub/cute Chinese restaurant/coffee shop. Great I would definitely stay again if I need a last minute place to stay in the area. Warm vibe.

Clean, quiet, friendly, helpful staff. Decent breakfast and excellent value. Exactly what I needed for a one night stay. Room is pretty compact but worked for what we needed.

Managed to get a cheap room fairly last minute there, the front desk staff were friendly, the room was clean and it was a good sleep there, room was nice and warm without being too hot. The only annoyance is that there's no kettles in rooms, so to make teas or anything that needs hot water you have to return to the front desk. Otherwise, it's great and I was happy with my stay.

The Ibis Budget Hotel at Willington is great value and excellently located for visiting Mercia Marina or for a convenient stopover in the Derby area. Although it’s set within a service station complex, the facilities nearby are surprisingly handy—there’s a Waitrose for any essentials or room snacks, a Subway, a bagel café offering breakfast options, and even a well-stocked charity shop if you fancy a browse and want to support a good cause. The rooms are compact but spotlessly clean, with a practical bathroom and a super-powerful shower. The front desk staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes a real difference. Complimentary hot drinks are available 24/7 at reception, and there’s also a well-stocked bar with a comfortable seating area. We didn’t try the breakfast, but it looked and smelled lovely

Can't fault this hotel. After a mundane drive, due to accidents on the M6 motorway ( nothing new there) eventually arrived at the Ibis hotel. I was greated by a very you'd lady who handed me my roon key. I went to my room. Basic but comfortable. I had a wonderful sleep. The room wasn't to hot or to cold, just the right temperature. In the morning I was greated by the night porter, who was setting out breakfast with his colleague. Breakfast was brilliant. A full selection of all your usual for a full english, even black pudding. And also a continental selection. I really can't fault this hotel. Its clean comfortable and all the staff are wonderful. I would stay here again. Arrived and wasn’t sure what to expect but was presently surprised. The room was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was really powerful. The tv have the ability to connect to your phone and the WiFi seemed pretty good.

Galina did an excellent job cleaning my room! Everything was spotless and well organized. Overall, my stay at the hotel was very pleasant: the room was comfortable, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was great. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return again.
